All-wooden carved doll, socket head, intaglio painted blue eyes with white eye dots, black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth with center line between the pale lips, solemn expression, brunette mohair side-parted wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body, antique white serge sailor dress and cap, undergarments, stockings, red (replica) Schoenhut leather ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. January 17, 1911 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 306, the model was offered in 1911 and discontinued in 1912; it was inspired by the 114 model of Kammer and Reinhardt. Value Points: rare early Schoenhut model with most endearing expression.
