Description
Of dark red cashmere wool (some moth holes) the costume comprises fitted jacket with dart-shaped fitting being short in the back and extending to points at the front waist, with inset plastron that closes with hooks and eyes at the center and is trimmed with ivory braid; coat sleeves with gathered shaping along the underseam, hook-and-eye closures at wrists with three bands of ivory trim. Matching full skirt with wide waistband trimmed with white banding and rosette at side waist, cartridge pleating, and with six rows of ivory trim around the skirt center and hem. With matching sailor style cap having fullness at the banding that is trimmed with ivory braid and rosette. To fit doll about 22". 4" shoulder width 10" waist.
