Description
21" (53 cm.) All hard plastic, blonde floss hair with cluster of fine curly bangs, side hair drawn back into an elaborate twist of curls at the crown decorated with tiny silk rosebuds and bluettes that are repeated at the shoulder and hip. Wearing pale rose tutu with ivory satin bodice and nylon pleated skirt edged with silver metallic rick-rack over two layers of net, satin panties, pink ballerina slippers. The costume is tagged "Madame Alexander, New York, NY, USA". Near mint condition. Alexander, 1951, original "Nina Ballerina" cloverleaf gilt wrist tag, exquisite complexion, coiffure and costume.
