9" shoulders. 15"l. jacket. Of red and pale blue wool, the uniform features a fitted jacket with various decorative elements, matching trousers, and a matching brimmed hat. Very good condition, few moth holes. French, circa 1890, a variation of the popular ceremonial parade military costumes presented to young boys in French Etrennes catalogs.
