Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 (doll) (remains of Bru Brevete label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1879,the first model of his Bebe Teteur, deposed in that year. Value Points: very rare version of Bebe Teteur, with choicest bisque, ivory knob, original ball, wearing original pique taufling costume including unusual oilcloth underbib, and glass bottle signed "Bebe Teteur, Bru Jeune" on bottle. Included is French Maplewood doll's highchair.
