Description
9" (23 cm). Amber tinted bisque
shoulderhead,brown glass inset eyes,painted
lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with accented lips,pierced ears,cone-shaped
carton torso with internal cylinder for candy use
(base missing). The figure has amber tinted
bisque lower arms and hands,and wears her
original (frail) silk costume and cap,earrings.
The beautiful bisque with well detailed features
is a rare model,and indicates the luxury
production of the candy box. French,circa 1880.
