Description
5 1/2" and 6" (14,15 cm). The identical models
each with bisque shoulderplate,light brown
sculpted hair arranged with deeply sculpted
forehead curls and decorated with Dresden
bows,painted blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with center accent line,elaborately painted
and sculpted Dresden collar and bodice.
Condition: excellent except each has missing part
of ribbon at top of head. Comments: Germany,circa
1875. Value Points: the rare pair are enhanced by
comparison of decorative painting on the bodice
trim.
