Description
24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brush stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, brunette mohair wig, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake (hidden) at bottom of neck socket. Marks: G Germany 16 JDK 220. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915,the doll is marked 220 although the facial model is 226. Value Points: wonderful large size dimpled character with choice bisque, fine antique costume.
