Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner and deeply modeled laughter crinkles around the eyes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, silk costume. Condition: generally excellent, hands retouched lightly. Marks: Made in Germany Simon & Halbig C.M. Bergmann 612 11. Comments: Simon and Halbig for Bergmann, circa 1915. Value Points: the rarity of the model, few are known to exist, is rivaled by its immense appeal, superb sculpting and painting.
