13" (33 cm). A bisque headed boy with socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,outlined lips,tiny porcelain teeth,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,carton torso and legs in seated pose,bisque forearms,costumed as troubadour with bagpipe. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1907 2. Comments: head by SFBJ,circa 1907,the boy is seated upon a cardboard "stump" with paper bark cover,that opens at the base for use as candy base. Value Points: wonderfully imaginative candy box for luxury Paris candy store,with especially fine quality bisque head.
