Description

Each 6"h (15 cm). Each is bisque shoulderhead with blue glass paperweight eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, and attached to cardboard cylinder whose base removes for storage of candy in the hollow interior. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. (scroll). Comments: circa 1890,the vibrant candy boxes were offered by prestige Parisian confiseries. Value Points: the bisque-headed boxes have original decoration suggesting the dolls are bursting from the center of a large velvet pansy, with purple velvet headdress and blouse.
