16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, widely arched brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the delicately painted lips,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden early ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: XI. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful gentle-faced child with exemplary bisque, original body and body finish.
