16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling, small brown glass flirty eyes, fringed upper lashes, black arched brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, accented lips, two deeply impressed dimples at each side of mouth, black mohair wig, original composition and wooden fully jointed body with sculpted black shoes and yellow socks, antique romper suit. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model 123 "Max", modeled after the character children in the storybooks of Wilhelm Busch, circa 1913. Value Points: among the rarest of the K*R character dolls, this example has especially fine quality of sculpting and bisque, original body and body finish.
