Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, hollow carton torso that separates at midriff for access to candy box interior, with bisque forearms, and bisque lower legs with sculpted and painted brown-soled heeled shoes, original fabric-covered base with original brass nut attachment to bisque feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (head). Comments: circa 1880,head by Gaultier,the statuette bisque feet and base are based upon the 1880 patent design of Georges Cordonnier and also appeared on Poupee-Statuette created by Radiquet and Cordonnier. Value Points: very rare candy box lady with deposed bisque leg model, in perfectly preserved original condition, with elaborate royal blue and ivory satin jester costume and cap.
