13"h duck (33 cm). White felt duck with elongated neck and orange felt beak, legs and webbed feet, has applique felt eyes, felt fringe of hair beneath attached red top hat, sewn on red jacket, green vest and white collar, carrying portfolio. Riding on his back is a composition headed boy with worried expression, flexible body for posing, painted stockings, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Lenci, circa 1940. Value Points: amusing and well-detailed figures are well preserved.
