Description
16" (40 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde painted boyish hair with forelock curl, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, composition and wooden ball- jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 127 36. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and modeling, rarer toddler body with original finish, wearing antique khaki Scout uniform with leather belt and shoes, matching cap, red scarf.
