Each 20" (51 cm). Each has pressed and oil painted facial features, brown shaded eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, human hair, cloth body with stitch- jointing at shoulders, hip-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent, paint flake on cheek of boy. Marks: Kathe Kruse (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1945,Type IX. Value Points: original painting and well preserved hair styles enhance the wistful expression on the pair of signed dolls.
