23" (58 cm). Realistically sculpted paper mache bull-dog with defined musculature, paws, tail, has loosely attached head in nodding fashion, large brown glass eyes, hinged jaw with ferocious painted teeth that opens and closes when chain is pulled, hidden wheels under the feet, original leather collar and fringe. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890.
