9"l (23 cm). Of paper mache form, the reclining dog is covered with lush white fur, shaved face with black painted nose and red nostrils, large amber glass eyes, leather ears, muslin covered wooden lower legs, long curly tail. The head removes for access to the candy container torso. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890.
