Heavy board storefront with shelved etagere arrangement containing 14 miniature candy boxes, two glass-fronted candy boxes, and ten glass candy bottles, each with original labels and decorations has gilt beaded trim, label "Confiserie" and encloses the store keeper, a bisque-headed poupee attributed to Jumeau with glass inset eyes, closed mouth, uniform, lace cap, kid body. The shop lifts off its base to reveal a hidden candy container base with compartment for doll and two large candy compartments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1885. Value Points: the superbly preserved condition and luxury quality of the unique boite de bon-bons indicates its origin from prestige Parisian candy shop.
