Description
5" violin (13 cm). Eleven paper mache embossed and fully-dimensional figural ornaments are made with separating pieces for original use as candy boxes, for example the drums have removable tops, the opera glass faux-lens are removable, and the watering can has a hidden removable base. Included are two drums with painted drumsticks on the top, two sun faces with tinsel edging on rays, two fans, artist palette, opera glasses, pipe, watering can and violin. All excellent condition, with original paint and decoration. Germany, circa 1885.
