Description
19" overall (48 cm). Standing upon a maroon velvet covered base is a bisque-headed girl with blue glass eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, carton torso and legs, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, aqua silk and lace dress with elegant bonnet, holding a mirror and puff. When wound the doll turns her head from side to side, opens and closes eyes, and alternately lifts mirror and puff, while music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1300 3 dep (head) LB (key). Comments: Leopold Lambert, circa 1890. Value Points: pretty model with amusing actions, two tunes, original boutique label on base.
