Description
5"l (13 cm). An upright tin piano with paper keyboard, candleholders, sheet music is mounted upon a tin platform. Seated on piano stool in front of piano is a tin man with painted moustache and facial features, mohair wig, tin hands, original felt costume. When keywound at rear, the man sways back and forth on the bench, runs his fingers up and down the keys, and music plays. Marked "F.M. Systeme Bte SGDG Paris" on back. Excellent condition. Martin, circa 1900.
