Bisque socket head portraying plump- faced young child has large blue glass enamel paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner and lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, attached to hollow carton body that separates at base for use as candy box, bisque forearms with elegantly sculpted fingers,(frail) original rose silk dress over net underdress, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, chips at earlobes. Marks: 4/0. Comments: early bisque bebe model by Francois Gaultier, circa 1882,with presentation as luxury candy box. Value Points: rare model candy box is enhanced by exquisite tiny bebe with dramatic eyes.
