Description
7" (18 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque elongated torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, auburn mohair wig, peg- jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: attributed to Gaultier, circa 1885. Value Points: very rare mignonette with distinctive expression, modeling and painting, Gaultier attribution, antique costume may be original.
