Description
10" doll (25 cm), 11" x 13" box (28 x 33 cm). A heavy red paper card box with lithograph on lid depicting a shepherd with cat and dog in country scene, contains within a bisque shoulderhead doll in similar costume, having brown glass inset eyes, blonde mohair wig, slightly parted lips, original muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, along with six fleecy coated paper mache lambs. Excellent condition, perfectly preserved and unplayed with. Circa 1890.
