Description
Each 9" (23 cm). Each is of paper mache with painted facial features in characteristic Palmer Cox designs, hand painted costumes, long spindly legs on self base. Originally designed as candy containers with removable heads. Good condition, black Brownie's head is glued to torso, other Brownie has repair to legs. Circa 1890.
