Description
9 1/2" (24 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with slightly parted lips, two square cut upper teeth, one square cut lower tooth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted pale blue stockings and two strap black heeled shoes, rose cotton dress with lace trim, undergarments, cap. Condition: generally excellent, tin flakes at peg hold of left arm, left thumb restored. Comments: circa 1885,attributed to Simon and Halbig. Value Points: exceptionally large all-bisque with beautiful expression and quality of bisque.
