A bisque-swivel head doll with bisque shoulderplate, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, carton torso, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, metal hinged upper legs, paper mache lower legs, is standing behind a metal three-wheel carriage with spoked wheels, twisted metal handle, velvet-covered seat, fabric shade, and carrying a tiny all-bisque doll with cobalt blue eyes and closed mouth, jointed limbs. When keywound at the side, the lady walks forward, the carriage front wheels turn, her head turns from side to side. Condition: generally excellent, costume original albeit faded. Comments: attributed to Vichy, circa 1880. Value Points: enchanting mechanical walking lady with beautiful face, original costume and accessories, and quite rare to fine.
