Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head and shoulderplate) Medaille d'Or 1878 (stamp on kid collarette). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1878,during the 1878 Exposition in Paris, the Jumeau firm won gold medals for both their bebes and their poupees. Value Points: superbly preserved condition of the deluxe-bodied poupee with extra joints, unusual body stamp, original wig and pate, and having original white batiste gown with undergarments, leather shoes with rosettes.
