9" Dutch boy (23 cm). Included is bisque-headed
boy with blue glass eyes,painted lashes and
brows,open mouth,four teeth,brunette bobbed
wig,hollow cylinder torso that separates at the
waist for use as candy box,with unusual trap door
device,wire upper arms,bisque forearms,original
costume. And silk-covered paper mache bell with
hand-painted rooster and chicks,having removable
cylinder at base for candy storage. And mousetrap
with hinges and paper mache flocked mouse,opening
drawer for candy storage. All in wonderfully
preserved original condition with amusing and
creative concepts. French,circa 1910.
