Description
7"h (18 cm). An intricately woven four-color bell-
shaped container is decorated with silk
ribbons,and is surmounted by a bisque socket head
with blue glass paperweight eyes,painted lashes
and brows,open mouth,row of teeth,blonde mohair
wig,wearing a woven straw cap. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: A.D.Bouchet (doll
head). Comments: circa 1895,the bisque doll head
was made by Adolphe Bouchet,used is candy box
presentation of the same era; the base of box
removes for access to candy. Value Points: rare
doll head model with amusing presentation as
candy box in perfectly preserved state.
