25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, outlined eye sockets, delicately-painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils of tiny rounded nose, closed mouth with pouting expression, very plump chin and cheeks, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, antique costume, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 231 Fany (incised script) DRGM 248/1 A 11 M. Comments: Marseille, from their art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare largest size of the seldom-found character, with very choice bisque having luminous patina of complexion.
