Description
11"h seated (28 cm). A bisque-headed boy with
blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered
brows,open mouth,is seated upon a cardboard tube
with paper cover to simulate bark,decorated with
leaves and berries. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks 10/0 (head). Comments: circa
1910,the boy wears folklore costume including
wooden shoes,and holds a bagpipe to his mouth;
the side of log opens to allow use of the log as
a candy box. Value Points: all original
wonderfully detailed candy box.
