All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, blonde impasto painted hair, separately stitched blushed ears, painted blue eyes, heavily-modeled eye lids, brown and red upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sateen body cover, oil-painted lower arms and legs, defined fingers, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1900. Value Points: rarer brown eyes, especially charming characterization on this example of the Chase cottage industry child.
