Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau 11 (head) Bebe Jumeau Bte SGDG Depose (torso) (mechanism also signed by Lioret). Comments: Bebe Phonographe, with bisque head and body by Jumeau, phonographe mechanism by Henri Lioret, the luxury bebe was introduced in 1892. When discs are inserted into torso mechanism, and wound, musical tunes are heard. Value Points: the rare bebe functions well, wears Jumeau muslin flowered dress and owns twelve original recordings in French and Spanish.
