16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, sienna tinted complexion, brown glass enamel inset eyes, black painted lashes and wide wavy brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth with firm expression, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition body with shoulder and hip jointing, painted yellow shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 244 5. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890. Value Points: excellent detail of portraiture depicting strong-featured Native American, very choice quality of bisque, original body and factory costume.
