18" (46 cm). Carved/pressed wooden socket head, intaglio brown eyes with prominent white eyedots, heavily modeled upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with somber expression, pale lips, original brunette tacked-on wig, all wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat Jan 17,1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1915. Value Points: outstanding quality of sculpting with original finish near-perfectly preserved, original wig, linen dress may be original, original shoes.
