8"h (20 cm). Mounted atop the roof of a dance hall decorated with colorfully lithographed scenes of minstrel shows are two black minstrel players and a performing dog. When wound, the larger man dances about, the smaller man plays the violin and the dog bobs up and down. Marked "Charleston Trio, Louis Marx & Co, Patented Oct. 1921". Excellent condition. American, Marx, circa 1921.
