11"h (28 cm). Standing atop the roof of a circus tent with colorful amusing circus scenes is a loose-limbed tin clown with cymbals clasped in hands. When wound, he claps the cymbals and dances about. Marked "Dandy Jim the Clown Dancer, Ferdinand Strauss, New York, Patented Oct. 1921". Very good condition, some light scratches. American, Strauss, circa 1921.
