Description
8 1/2"l (22 cm). Standing atop a boat decorated with anchors, portholes and waves is a white- suited sailor. When wound and lever released the sailor dances the hornpipe and the boat moves along on wheeled base. Marked "Jackee the Hornpipe Dancer, Trademark, Patents Applied For, The Ferdinand Strauss Corp, New York". Excellent condition. American, Strauss, circa 1925,with original box having illustrations of the toy and instructions for play.
