Description
32" (81 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brush stroked and multi- feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1907 15 (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (paper label). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1907,from original tete model of Emile Jumeau. Value Points: beautiful bisque on the large bebe with original signed body, antique dotted Swiss dress, undergarments, straw bonnet, original shoes signed "Bebe Jumeau Depose 15".
