6 1/2"l (16 cm). Lithographed tin upright piano is decorated with amusing scenes of dancing mice and sheet music, has arched crest decorated with tuba-playing cat and label "Marx Merrymakers". A mouse sits on chair playing the piano, another mouse at the side plays the taboret, a third mouse sits atop the piano playing a violin, and the fourth mouse conducts the concert. When wound, the mice perform. Marked Louis Marx & Co, and various patent dates. Excellent condition. Marx, circa 1935.
