Description
11" (28 cm). Lithographed tin double-decker bus with open top, bench seats, back stairwell, is painted green with yellow trim and lattice-like grill at the upper sides, open windows, grey-sided wheels, uniformed driver. When wound, the back wheels turn, causing the front wheels to swivel and the bus to ratchet along. Marked "Interstate Bus, Trademark 98,Strauss Mechanical Toys". Excellent condition. American, Strauss, circa 1925.
