Description
12"h (30 cm). A bisque-headed doll with blue glass inset eyes, open mouth, teeth, blonde mohair wig, wire upper arms and legs, wooden lower arms and legs with fancily painted yellow stockings and black shoes, jester costume, is seated upon a wooden stool behind a large paper decorated drum, the entire arrangement upon a wheeled wooden platform with decorative papers. When pulled along, the little boy turns his head from side to side, and clangs the cymbals onto the drum. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Zinner and Sohne, circa 1890. Value Points: amusing and imaginative toy is wonderfully preserved.
