Description
Each 9" (23 cm). Each has pressed and painted felt face with brown side-glancing googly eyes, long upper lashes, "O" shaped mouth (the sailor with drilled hole for pipe),mohair wig, muslin body with jointing at hips and shoulders, felt arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original Lenci cloth and paper labels, pencil inscription indicating "Miniature 61" (Dutch boy) and "Miniature 28" (sailor). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: crisp fresh costumes are well-preserved.
