Description
6 1/4"l (16 cm). A lithographed tin upright piano with designs of dancing mice, music sheets and keyboard has four attached mice merrymakers, viz, mouse seated at piano stool, mouse seated on side chair with taboret, mouse seated atop the piano as though presiding, and mouse standing at front, each with fancily painted Broadway costume. When wound, the mice dance about, chairs wriggle. Marked "Marx Merrymakers, Louis Marx & Co,200 5th Ave, N.Y. USA" and various patent dates. Excellent condition. Circa 1935.
