Description
7 1/2" (19 cm). Cast iron bank with realistically sculpted owl perched on a branch has green glass eyes; when coin is placed on the branch and thumb knob pressed, the owl turns his head quickly to the side. Signed "Feb 2, 1875" and "1880" on the base. Excellent condition. J&E Stevens, circa 1880.
