Description
8"l (20 cm). A bonneted girl is seated upon a bench, her large friendly dog seated at her side. When coin inserted and lever pushed, four motions occur: the coin shelf drops open, her arm moves toward the dog, his mouth opens and closes, and his tail wags. Signed "Pat'd July 14,1885" on the underside and "Speaking Dog" at the front. Excellent condition, some paint wear on face. Circa 1890.
