Description
10"l (25 cm). Cast iron oval base portraying an Indian encampment with raised symbols around the base features an Indian seated in front of his teepee, teasing a large frog with the fish he holds in his mouth. When he extends the fish, the frog leaps to capture it. Signed "Pat. applied for". Excellent condition. J&E Stevens, circa 1900,the bank was patented in 1899.
